Fri Jan 26 2007 (Day 36) - Final day
We checked out at dawn and dragged our bags to the bus stop opposite the train station to wait for the bus to Sapporo Chitose Airport. This was taken while waiting for the bus to arrive. We were almost frozen...
Breakfast at Sapporo Chitose Airport before boarding
The white meat in the white bowl is raw squid. It really doesn't taste good. It taste awful, to be honest
Arrived at Tokyo Haneda Airport and took a train to Shinjuku. At Shinjuku station, we had to find the large size lockers to store our packs because it was impossible to walk around Shinjuku with all that weight on our backs. Initially, we couldn't find the large lockers to store our bags. Those were all taken. Awww......but after some hunting around and some frustration, we tracked down a couple removing their bags from 2 large lockers. We grabbed those 2 immediately. How lucky is that. Otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to walk around and would have to head straight to Narita Airport and waited till the flight tonight.

Being the last day of our 36 days trip, we were fully exhausted by now and didn't really have the energy to enjoy our final hours in Tokyo. Bought a few CDs at Tower Records, had last bowl of Soba and went back to Shinjuku Station to get our bags from the locker.

Headed to Narita Airport.
GOODBYE JAPAN! We will return...
