The bus ride back to Takayama. The view was the opposite of the bus-trip to Shirakawa-go, when it was nice and clear. Today, we can hardly see anything in this weather.

Waiting for the train to Nagoya at Takayama station. Still snowing. It was quite crowded at the station.

At Nagoya, after waiting a while in the waiting room, we boarded the shinkansen to Kyoto. The ride was about 3 hours. Arrived in Kyoto after dark. After a near-to-frustration search with our heavy load, we managed to locate our accommodation, Tour Club. Checked-in, unload (phew!) and walked back to Kyoto Station to find food.

We had green tea ice-cream to end our long day. Japanese products are very captivating. They take pride in the packaging and presentation. It makes you wanna purchase the items even if you don't know what those are...
